1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using ReClip ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Service.

These terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.

2. Description of Service

ReClip is a video repurposing platform that helps content creators turn long-form videos into platform-ready short clips. The Service includes:

  • Video upload and YouTube import functionality
  • Transcription and clip analysis
  • Automated clip detection and extraction
  • Platform-specific caption and hashtag generation
  • Video rendering and export

3. Account Registration

To use certain features of the Service, you must register for an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information
  • Maintain and promptly update your account information
  • Maintain the security of your password and accept all risks of unauthorized access
  • Immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your account

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

4. User Content

Your Rights

You retain all rights to the videos and content you upload to the Service. We do not claim ownership of your content.

License to Us

By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to process, store, and transmit your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service. This license ends when you delete your content or account.

Your Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for your content and represent that:

  • You own or have the necessary rights to use and authorize us to process the content
  • Your content does not infringe any third-party intellectual property rights
  • Your content complies with all applicable laws and regulations
  • Your content does not contain illegal, harmful, or objectionable material

5. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Upload content you do not have the right to use
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Infringe on intellectual property rights of others
  • Upload content containing malware, viruses, or harmful code
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service
  • Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
  • Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization
  • Process content that violates YouTube's Terms of Service (when importing)

6. Subscription and Payments

Free Tier

Our free tier includes limited monthly repurposes with basic features. Usage limits reset on the first day of each calendar month.

Paid Subscriptions

Pro subscriptions are billed monthly or annually as selected. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods.

Price Changes

We reserve the right to modify our pricing. We will provide at least 30 days notice before any price increase takes effect for existing subscribers.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its original content, features, and functionality, is owned by ReClip and protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Suggestions we generate for captions, hashtags, and hooks are recommendations only. You are free to modify and use them as you see fit for your content.

8. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with third-party services including:

  • OpenAI: For transcription and clip analysis
  • Anthropic: For draft and caption suggestions
  • Stripe: For payment processing
  • YouTube: For video import functionality

Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms of service. We are not responsible for the practices of third-party services.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. Generated suggestions may contain errors or inaccuracies.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, RECLIP SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR USE.

Our total liability for any claims arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ReClip and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason at our sole discretion.

You may delete your account at any time through your account settings. Upon termination, all your data will be permanently deleted.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.

Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
